Hopkins Pride is a non profit (501c3) organization whose mission is to continuously cultivate inclusive, safe, and sustainable community events for LGBTQIA+ and Hopkins community members in an effort to build a stronger community as a whole. Hopkins Pride continues to be a family-friendly organization which focuses on providing awareness of the Hopkins LGBTQIA+ community, and connecting ALL Hopkins community members with resources that will enrich and support their mental, social, and creative well-being.
History of Hopkins Pride
In March 2023, a small group of community members met at LTD Brewing Co. in downtown Hopkins to discuss a bold idea: to bring a Pride festival to our streets. Despite the ambitious timeline, that vision came to life in June 2023. The overwhelming success of our inaugural festival proved that our community was ready to celebrate together, sparking a movement that continues to grow every year.
